I was expecting something more like that lingering pinch hit where the poor person likes ex-Yu stuff and is clearly wary about people who don't get their culture. Instead, we have this.
I think this DNW should have been put in a couple of these fandom sections with specifics about what might be a problem. The first one sounds like it has potential for clueless writing in a way this recip might notice, but the rest? One of them isn't even set in the real world, one is set a long-ass time ago, one's set in an alternate earth, and the RPF they say they know next to nothing about. They'd have been better off with a request for no US-flavor AUs or something about how much they like the culture and setting of canon.
