Look, it's not that I have any great moral opposition to it or anything, I will drop in to read if someone links an interesting thread sometimes, but I don't have the time? Or energy? And I'm frankly not sure how any of y'all do.

Maybe if I end up depressed, unemployed and in bed all day again I'll go to the effort of learning enough of the culture to keep up, but then again if I'm depressed and in bed all day I will probably still have better things to spend my even more limited energy on.
