I disagree. I find fanfics-of-fanfics charming as a concept and I don't see the harm in letting those subfandoms in on principle. I wouldn't let HP fic in because of the worldbuilding involved, but I think where the fic is set in the normal world and no characters from the original canon are nominated/appear in the fic, it should be allowed.
