Okay, but there's not much to be done for participants who don't bother to check their fandoms' eligibility other than to give them reminders that they really ought to be checking that (as the Yuletide mods in fact do). Whereas getting rid of FFN in determining eligibility would automatically help the participants who have trouble using FFN's search options.
