For me, yes. And also that it just doesn’t make sense. If they were still counting single archives or ever counted LJ I would think different. Just because FF.net is easy to filter doesn’t mean anything to me. The minute they did their first purge (thus banning E fic) and put up its first ad it shouldn’t’ve been trusted as a fandom site. It also isn’t fair because it doesn’t allow RPF.
If you’re going to count FF.net then count AdultFF too since they go hand in hand with the FF.net crowd.
It’s all just legacy rules for legacy’s sake and I don’t see the point. This Ao3 where they moved to. Base it on Ao3 or keep up with all the new sites instead of acting like FF.net matters.
/has no fandoms active on FF.net, all my fandoms are so small I don’t even bother checking there, and would gain nothing from having it removed. I’m an immigrant in America who is anti-2nd amendment too. Sometime old rules that made sense a while back just need to fucking go. The mods look stupid for keeping it up because that’s how it’s been when they have a history of changing shit willy nilly anyway!
