I’d seen a few people mention they hadn’t really liked it, so I was surprised to find how much I enjoyed it. But then I love folk horror and it was so ridiculously, unapologetically schlocky and OTT that I couldn’t help be delighted by it. And I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than his last novel. It definitely had some issues though: I’m curious to know what reservations you had about it.
